Abstract blue paintings, blue-dyed lace and footage from her personal archive are interspersed with fragments of conversations, dream prints and personal memories of those who have experienced postpartum depression. The film was created together with the director by participants of her workshop on the cyanotype technique.

Like a journal page suspended in time, I explore uprooting away from Cuba through film and plants.

An outcast makes a journey through a dam in Sierra Maestra, place of origin of the Cuban Revolution. As in a short story, we are guided through this attenuate landscape gradually crossing the delineae cartography of a body that with every movement is diluted, finally becoming one with the habitat.

Leticia, a 15-year-old Portuguese village girl, has a shotgun and she is not afraid to use it. I shoot her in a particular moment of her life.

Ostende – La Mer – Un Jour is a kind of graphic novel which comes down to showing pictures and then a voice-over of the people who are photographed tell what we see.
