Mahin lives alone in Tehran since her husband’s death and her daughter’s departure for Europe, until an afternoon tea with friends leads her to break her solitary routine and revitalize her love life.

Bahar is an acclaimed Iranian director, having made numerous films selected in international festivals. So when she casts actors and asks them to wear women’s outfits for her latest film, they agree in the hope of an international career — or even a visa to leave the country. But wearing skirts and headscarves under the heat is harder than they expected … as is the hit to their pride.

Mina's life is turned upside down when she learns that her husband was innocent of the crime for which he was executed, so she starts a silent battle against a cynical system for her own and her daughter's sake.

Farhad tells the story of his life to a psychiatrist. In the time of the Iran-Iraq War, Farhad is arrested and charged with illegal migration. When he is freed years later, he goes to his old love, Mahtab. Through conversations with his psychoanalyst and interrogations with the police, Farhad reveals the story of his life.

A trio of humorous stories set around Tehran.

"The series 'Moon and Leopard' (2016) features a social and dramatic theme built on the conflict between good and evil, temptation, revenge, and lawlessness. The story follows Haj San'an Na'imi, who, on the verge of 60 and after years of living a righteous life, falls into diabolical temptation, an event that profoundly affects his life and the lives of others."
