She is spirited, determined and quick on her feet. Disguised as a man by the name of Hua Jun, she is tested every step of the way and must harness her innermost strength and embrace her true potential.

Average teenager Jin Wang juggles his high school social life with his immigrant home life. When he meets a new foreign student on the first day of the school year, even more worlds collide as Jin is unwittingly entangled in a battle of Chinese mythological gods.

The sudden death of the son forces an unexpressive and isolated Chinese immigrant father to reflect on his relationship with the deceased son and to rediscover the meaning of family.

This short explores the pain of unrealized romantic potential with a backwards timeline that will heighten its dreamlike cinematic tone.
