As a pioneering trans soul singer in the 1960s, Jackie Shane’s unapologetic and authentic presence in Toronto contributed to the local R&B music scene and made her an enduring queer icon in Canada.

A teenage girl dreams of studying abroad, but her father's rejection threatens to derail her plans, forcing her to confront her family's troubled past and find strength within herself to pursue her dreams.

After a cosmic disaster leaves Earth virtually empty, a hopeful yet sombre woman experiencing pareidolia must decide what lengths she will go to for connection.

As a woman clings to consciousness, a desperate struggle unfolds. Can she escape the clutches of her sleep paralysis, or will her nocturnal tormentor finally get what it wants?

Trying to stay creative and deal with loneliness and isolation Vanessa builds a ghost costume, rearranges her furniture every night, and makes this film.

A Black woman journeys through a guided meditation in an effort to connect with herself and decide whether she will go towards the light of hope or remain in the darkness of a constructed reality.
