She doubts whether to stay or start from scratch away, although she is still waiting for the arrival of Carlos, exiled in East Germany

"Prelude, Fictions of Silence" is an interdisciplinary project that blends documentary, performance, and audiovisual elements. This work invites us to reflect on the loss of voice; inherited silence, memory, grief, and migrations that compel us to return. Through seemingly familiar narratives, we journey in search of the origin of our own silences.

A woman returns to an old building to reminisce. Memories of the place guide her and she plays hide and seek with her memories. Nothing is what it seems. The passageways can be playgrounds for children; the railings, songs; and the windows, opportunities for love. She searches for the mystery that binds her to the Central Building.
