Marczak asks Majka's current husband to compose a song for Sylwia. He agrees on the condition that the songwriter will not help Majka make her comeback.

In 2011, a psychiatric patient is visited by a postulate. The patient is a retired head of the "D" Group – a secret department of the Security Service to fight against the Polish Catholic church. Murders, beatings, blackmails, provocations, robberies, those are standard methods of operation for its officers. The postulate wants to unravel the mystery of the death of priest Roman Kotlarz, a parish priest from Pelagow.

Laguna was once a great soccer player whose career was interrupted by an injury. He spent years climbing the ranks to become an international referee. He sees the prevailing arrangements, manipulations, and bribery around him. When Marcin dies in an accident, his family mourns. However, instead of seeking reconciliation, the relatives of the deceased furiously scratch fresh wounds. The atmosphere in the house thickens with each word spoken because neither the brother nor the parents were prepared for the young man's departure. Mutual relations also become more complicated, and attempts to start a conversation do not lead to an agreement. To make matters worse, the question returns more and more clearly: who is to blame for this death?
