A documentary on the cruelty of Japan's judicial and penitentiary system.

On the 11th of March 2011, in Japan, an earthquake and tsunami led to the most serious nuclear accident of the century. On the heels of explosions, radioactivity levels reached record highs. This extraordinary film draws upon hundreds of hours of footage filmed by robots, allowing viewers to enter into the darkness of the power plant's nuclear reactors, to understand what went so terribly wrong.

After the disaster of March 2011, the Japanese authorities decided to build a gigantic 15 meter high, 500 kilometer long, anti-tsunami wall, separating the land and the ocean. But what is the environmental and human impact of this wall? The population is divided on their opinion: should they cut the island off from the sea or stay vulnerable to tsunamis? Is there another way?

Les prophètes de l’escalade is a French documentary directed by Marie Linton that traces the meteoric rise of the discipline, which has since become an Olympic sport. It highlights a handful of pioneers from the 1980s who transformed what was once a counterculture movement into a popular, urban, high-level sport.
