A two-part television film based on the novel of the same name by Rudolf Jašík, depicting a realistic picture of life and interpersonal relationships during World War II in the mixed Slovak-German environment of the town of Pravna and the nearby village of Planice, as well as life and relationships between soldiers on the Eastern Front. From this perspective, the plot follows a unit of Slovak soldiers, their realisation that they are fighting for foreign interests, their dissatisfaction and distrust of everything, especially their officers.

The story of a sick writer who returns to his native region to gain new physical and mental strength, however, did not impress, it is too artificial, with dialogues and plots rustling paper. Television production, dramatisation of the science fiction short story by George Langelaan. The story of atomic scientist Bernard Marsden, who sees mysterious figures on the television screen one day. After the figures repeatedly appear, he learns that they are people who were directly at the epicentre of the atomic bomb explosion in Nagasaki and whose chain reaction transported them to the antiworld. Among them is Mary Seymour, with whom he falls in love. He decides to transport himself to the antiworld using the explosion of a small atomic bomb. However, his attempt might end tragically.
