Office worker Napoleon Larsson is an unnoticed existence. One day when he arrives late for work, he gets fired, but through his wife's actions he gets alerted by the boss and advances within the company.

Swedish movie from 1939. In summer Stockholm live the unemployed musician Nisse trying to sell the songs to music publishers. One day the treasurer of a prominent publisher is arrested, on suspicion of theft of 10,000 crowns from a cash box. Nisse has, however, seen something suspicious.

Baron Leijoncloo comes back to Sweden after many years in Argentina. On his way to his good friend Victor Sällberg's home, he loses his luggage. A con artist, Jönsson, finds it, and uses the baron's title to get invited to the manor of Mr. and Mrs. Blomqvist. By a coincidence, the baron also comes to the manor using a fake name. A travelling theater-company performs Offenbach's "The Beautiful Helene" when an officer in the audience notices the similarity in appearance between the leading actor Leonard Pettersson and the king Charles XV. With Pettersson dressed as the king and the other actors as the royal suite, they all go to Herrsunda castle where the officer is trying to make an impression on his fiance.

A happy-go-lucky husband has a wife bitten with social aspirations and this leads to several social mishaps.

The Björcks are an ordinary middle-class family in a large Stockholm apartment with with two children, Greta and Ville. But the family's happiness is threatened in two ways: Greta prefers Börje Schack instead of the well-behaving Bertil. And the flirtatious Mrs. Holten tries to snare Mr. Björck.
