A son travels to fulfill his mother's request. A relationship marked by distance, resentment, rust. The sacrifice of a cat becomes the perfect excuse for getting closer. Before the day ends, one must reconcile with the past.

After taking in an abandoned child, Teresa meets Antônio and the two begin a journey on the roads. The common past, for them, is the memories of a city submerged at the bottom of a dam. Life is a dream, but the future is uncertainty.

The film follows the life of the doctor Menezes (Carlos Vereza), known as the doctor of the poor.

Immersed in her thoughts, the young Jessika Yakecan, daughter of the Shaman Cicero Potyguara and political activist, alternates her time learning the ancestral knowledge of her father, campaigning for gender and sexuality causes with her “Coletivo Indígena LGBTI+ Caboclas” and fighting to defend the territory of her village.
