A Turkish-Jewish family faces a series of dilemmas on the morning of Susam’s Bar-mitzvah ceremony with the limitations of Shabbat day rules when Susam locks himself in his room and does not get out for his ceremony.

Gün returns to his hometown after the death of her grandmother. She is shaken by the loss of his closest one. Before she has time to mourn, she finds himself in the middle of practical work and responsibilities. As she rushes to everything, she is unable to do what he really needs to do.

After a tragic miscarriage, Nimet -a middle aged woman- gets stuck in the conservative society in Istanbul while her beloved younger sister Öznur carries a burden of her own in the family, trying to struggle her own demons.

After Turkey’s february 1997 military intervention, Hilal and Fatma left their town to study at university in Istanbul. Feza lives downstairs in their lodgings, has fled as village where was cruelly bullied for being a transgender woman. Hilal chooses to help Feza and Fatma.

One hour before their wedding, Ceren and Semih, who make their final preparations at the hotel where the ceremony will be held, are forced to question their happiest days when their close friend Mert begins to reveal the secrets of the past.
