After the sudden loss of her parents, 12-year-old İrem moves in with her estranged grandmother on a semi-industrial dairy farm. As she witnesses the routine separation of newborn calves from their mothers, İrem becomes increasingly troubled by the quiet violence embedded in everyday practice to gain more milk. This unsettling realization leads her to make a small but radical decision: to free the pregnant cows from the farm, with the help of Halid, an orphan apprenticed to the farm’s veterinarian.

Veysi lives in a village in the middle of Anatolia. One morning, when he goes to his barn with his son Mustafa, a pack of wolves attacks on his sheeps and Veysi loses most of them.
