Alissa Atanassova

The film was named after the short story “Petya of My Petya” written by the exceptional young poet Petya Dubarova. The director Alexander Kossev and the writers Valentina Angelova and Nelly Dimitrova lift the vail of the past to present Petya Dubarova and her talent to today’s young generations.

Nineteen brides, scattered over four continents, run off on their wedding day. Reality and fiction merge when random people from different cultures contemplate why the brides run away.

A couple's love has made the time stand still. Isolated in a static world problems in their relations start coming to the surface.
