In the first hour of the new year 1965, a holiday program with the participation of Pavel Rudakov and Sergei Lavrov, Larisa Mondrus, Tatiana Shmyga, Leonid Engibarov, Arkady Raikin, brothers Sazonov, Iosif Kobzon, Maya Kristalinskaya, Muslim Magomaev, vocal octet "Line" and pop orchestra conducted by Eddie Rosner, Yulia Pashkovskaya, Vladimir Shubarin, Eduard Khil, quartet "Accord" was broadcast. Among the guests are cosmonauts Gagarin, Belyaev and Leonov.

Oleg, the host of a TV show is asked to cover in his show a new ultramodern amusement park called "Park of the Soviet Period". The life in the park is an exaggerated version of the soviet life - pioneers parading, girls selling soda water on the street, socialist banners are everywhere, communist party decisions, free medical procedures, etc. When Oleg falls in love with a nurse he discovers that the rules of the Park forbid any personal contact with the staff, that was trained to live a very different life compared to the life in the world outside. As he fights to gain the heart of the nurse he finds deep flaws in the Utopian atmosphere of the park and decides he must do something about it.

Basta and his friends had a serious conflict with the powerful clan of silovikov. The guys have to find a way out of this situation, including the power of creative energy.

An elderly man walks along Nevsky Prospect, along the embankments and streets of the city, looking into old courtyards. He remembers his youth, looking at the youth dancing right on the streets. He gets on a tram and seems to be traveling to his past through Leningrad. Variety artists take part in his "walks".
