Winner Takes All is a Hong Kong comedy starring Karl Maka and Ricky and Samuel Hui

Developer Tsang Siu Chi and his agent have bought two of a group of four properties. Rival developer Boss Hung has secured the other two. Both aim to buy all four so they can knock them down and build hotels.

A kung-fu manual known as the Sacred Scroll is stolen from the Emperor's library. An army detachment is sent to recover it. Meanwhile, a young swordsman and his fellow disciple are accidentally drawn into the chaos.

Sam Hui Special 1980 presents a string of Sam Hui's songs in story form, joined by guest performers including Teresa Carpio, Ricky Hui, Wong Ching, Kwok Lee-man, Eunice Lam, James Wong and Winnie Yu. In the story, Sam's boss demands that he write more than a dozen new songs.
