The story of The Boomtown Rats, who fought a conservative Ireland, broke through the UK punk scene, scored global No 1 hits and revolutionised the world with Bob Geldof’s Live Aid.

Unique story of the rise and fall of showbands, when hundreds of bands and thousands of musicians played chart hits live to young people in ballrooms all over Ireland. This award-winning film is presented by U2's Adam Clayton.
