A woman married to a former politician during the 1971 military dictatorship in Brazil is forced to reinvent herself and chart a new course for her family after a violent and arbitrary act.

Elza is a retired teacher who, after her husband’s death, finds herself alone and isolated. In search of a new way to live, she begins exploring her neighborhood and, by chance, joins a theater class. From that moment on, she immerses herself in the transformative power of art.

In "Arapuca" we follow the daily life of Marcos, a man who returns to his old home to look after his father, who is in the advanced stages of a degenerative disease that prevents him from seeing the reality around him clearly. Marcos is unable to communicate with his father and this invisibility is gradually corrupting him, mainly because it prevents him from finding answers to something that has been bothering him for a long time in their relationship.
