Lumberjacking is a second part of saga about young author, Kalle Päätalo. It's a story about growing up and becoming a storyteller in hard times when their father was in the forced labour camp. He was a lunatic.

A lock factory worker Pertti would like to marry his girlfriend Verna, but fears they don't have enough money. His brother Martti is a member of a youth gang that is planning a robbery with three other young men. When the boys have to flee at the time of the robbery, Pertti who secretly shadowed them sees an opportunity to solve his money problem.

Due to the post-war housing shortage, Pirkko, who has nowhere to sleep, is given accommodation at the full-service guesthouse run by landlady Töttermanska. Kalle, a shy and absent-minded civil servant at the comparison agency, unwittingly becomes Minister of War. He receives help in his new role from Maria, the daughter of Finance Minister Karpio. Problems in the performance of his duties lead Kalle to a court martial, and he resigns from his ministerial post to start a new life with his neighbor Leena.

Colonel Carolus von Haestman, presumed dead by his family, awakens from his deathbed and sets out to find his childhood sweetheart, Amelie. His children and grandchildren, in turn, set out to find the runaway lovers. In the end, the funeral turns into a wedding and honeymoon.

Sankarialokas is a parody about military life from year 1955.

An ex-finnish army officer Kari Kivi returns to Finland after 12 years of absence. He is quickly hired by a businessman named Östermalm to be his stand-in to escape the ring of spies threatening his life. Many beautiful women cross Kivi's path before the spy ring is eventually crushed.

A manager of a company has made an embezzlement just to make the sweet life possible with his lover. An office manager promises to take the blame if the manager promises to behave better.
