The film tells the story of Martin, a child of nine years, who one day disappears from private school where he studied. Police mounted a major search operation across the city to find him. All hypotheses are possible: What happened?

Leonel is a pianist, nostalgic of sweet melodies, while his son is the (real-life) leader of Os Gatos Pretos (black cats), a twist musical group. The conflict is eventu ally solved when Leonel's daughter, Cilinha, starts dating Raúl, a well-off young man, who promote a new dancing club, the Lisboa Antiga e Moderna, where old new music get even shares.

Pedro do Estoril, where the brothers Teresa and Carlos live, who have many friends "ié-ié", among whom stands out Manela, for whom Jorge ends up falling in love... after all, Jorge is the real owner of the residence, and he decided to take a closer look at the lives of his cousins, who settled there, during his absence overseas.
