Folk comedy about a market vendor who happens to have a double who's a doctor causing the necessary confusion.

The film follows the spirited press photographer Jo Markus (played by Denise De Weerdt), who works for an Antwerp weekly magazine. Nicknamed "The Princess" because of her aristocratic mother, she teams up with two bumbling friends (De Woodpeckers, Jef and Cois Cassiers) to not only bring a gang of thieves to justice but also discover love along the way..

Smugglers try to ship their products via Pol Knol, a trader in medical products. Due to circumstances, the package remains on Mr Knol's desk. The smugglers think that Pol has deliberately withheld it. They come to pay him a "visit."

As Alex is about to get married, his father Charles sets off for a secret mission in Germany. Hilarity ensues when their personal contacts start to interfere with one another.

Hazeke -the daughter of innkeeper Tapmans- marries Paul - the sun of a rich industrialist called Conti. Hazeke learns that her husband used to hang out a lot with a certain Mary.

Julleke would have loved to have been a student but he never made it beyond the post office of Mussegem. His friends Mil and Frans have no financial worries and their motto is 'the dafter the better'.

Jan Peeters is happily married and his wife Annie just things he's the best. When all of a sudden 4 women buy him a tie for his birthday she's becoming suspicious.

The widow Fien Appel, owner of a pastry shop, lives next door to café owner Camille, a widower. Camille is eager to win Fien’s hand, but she is first and foremost concerned with the future of her daughters. Her devoted servant Julleke, who cares deeply for the girls, worries that Camille won’t be able to persuade his mistress and advises him to seek a suitable wife through a marriage broker. A rendezvous is arranged at the bar “In het Paradijs,” setting the stage for unexpected twists and comedic developments.
