The story of the statesman Ioannis Kapodistrias from his time as foreign minister of Russia all the way to Greece's independence in the 1820s.

"A Touch of Spice" is a story about Fanis, a young Greek boy growing up in Istanbul, whose grandfather, a culinary philosopher and mentor, teaches him that both food and life require a little salt to give them flavor. They both require... A Touch of Spice. Fanis grows up to become an excellent cook and uses his cooking skills to spice up the lives of those around him. 35 years later he leaves Athens and travels back to his birthplace of Istanbul to reunite with his grandfather and his first love. He travels back only to realize that he forgot to put a little bit of spice in his own life.

A divorced actor meets his 15-year-old son each Saturday. While the father encounters professional and relationship problems in his everyday life, his son is anxious about his first date with a girl.

An employee of a pharmaceutical company is unjustly accused of doping a racehorse and finds refuge in a provincial troupe, where he becomes the man for all errands.

The Lecco, an art collector, promises to help him, asking him to return to bring him a valuable vase from the archaeological museum of Amorgos, stealing it and replacing it with a copy. Alkis accept and go on Amorgos where he meets a girl, Ariadne. The divine aura of mysterious girl, no one on the island knows or has seen in captivates and entangles in a strange metaphysical conundrum, where added and the sudden death of Lecco.

The movie is about Count Ioannis Kapodistrias, one of the most important diplomats of the 18th century, who became the first governor of the independent Greek state (1827).
