As the owner of a very famous bordello in Rio de Janeiro gets buried, an old scoundrel remembers his own past among the bohemian circles of the city.

After the death of her handsome but good-for-nothing husband Vadinho, Flor, a widow, marries Dr. Teodoro, a respectable gentleman. Hilarity ensues when Vadinho's spirit returns into her life.

"Lula, 'bon vivant' who subsists at the expense of small blows, goes on with his life without a present or future purpose. Basically, he just tries to forget having been abandoned by his fiancee Helena, who gave in to his father's imposition. The situations in which he gets involved from then on are paradoxical, trying to survive in the best possible way and spending money he doesn't have, but which comes to him in one way or another. In turn, Helena, whose marriage had failed, dreams of meeting Lula again, hoping to return to his arms.

Upon discovering that she was kidnapped by the Minotaur, the whole gang goes on an adventure to try to save Aunt Nastácia. And that's when the fun begins.

Adaptation of the series shown in 1986. Marcos and Lurdinha live in love in the 1950s. The young man is the son of separated parents and his mother, Glória, works as a cashier in a nightclub. The conservatism of the girl's family and the sexual repression of the time are factors that affect the couple's relationship.
