NRIt's easy to get wrapped up in the details when it comes to cycling. Distances, wattages, victories and other measures often lead us to forget the simple joy of riding a bike. Brothers Gus and Lachlan Morton (yes, the one who races with WorldTour team Garmin-Sharp), got back to basics in an attempt to recover the lost magic of the sport. This is their story about the 2500km journey from Port Macquarie to Uluru in just twelve days

2017
The third instalment in the Outskirts series sees brothers Gus and Lach getting the band back together for a journey from Albania to Istanbul. Underprepared and out of their depth, they endure a journey as strange as you would expect in all the ways you wouldn't.

10.0It was Lachlan Morton’s greatest feat of endurance yet. Last September, Lachy set a new Around Australia Record, riding 14,200-kilometers around his home country in just 30 days, nine hours, and 59 minutes. That’s more than 460 kilometers per day, every day, for a month. Lachy’s brother Gus was there with him for the ride, filming all of his pre-dawn starts, the lonely time trials down outback highways, headwinds, tailwinds, gas station meals, and all of the people who Lachlan met along the way. The Great Southern Country, our film about Lachlan's Around Australia Record, presented by Cannondale and POC, is a story of endurance, how great challenges bring people together. And it is a story about Australia in all of its rugged beauty.
The Great Southern Country
2025
First run in 1961 by the Bradford Cycling Club, the classic race crosses Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, three fells above the River Ribble in the Yorkshire Dales. The course is now 61km in length, with 33km on unsurfaced ground, 28km on road, and six to eight km that the organisers deem unrideable. Join Lachlan Morton for a cyclocross race like no other.
