Milton Teagle "Richard" Simmons was a semi-retired American fitness instructor, actor, and video producer, known for his eccentric, flamboyant, and energetic personality. He has promoted weight-loss programs, most prominently through his Sweatin' to the Oldies line of aerobics videos.
