The plot is based on the dramatic fate of the Red Army commander Aleksei Ivanovich Pavlov. Having been captured in January 1942 and being among the displaced persons, he didn't immediately decide to return to the USSR. Having rolled around the foreign country for 17 years, Aleksei nevertheless returned to his homeland. He goes to his brother in the south of the country to Sevastopol. Aleksei accidentally meets the doctor Anna Andreyevna, who was saved from death in besieged Leningrad. She travels by car from Moscow and also to the south, with her daughter Tanya; she suggests he join them. Aleksei tells about his life on the road.

A third part of story about a Soviet spies trying to infiltrate German Intelligence center "Saturn" during and after the WWII.

Summer of 1945. The salute of the Great Victory died down and the country is gradually returning to peaceful life. From "fire yes into the fire" a young reconnaissance commander Volodya Sharapov falls, having come to the MUR for distribution, to the department for combating banditry. In the city the Black Cat gang rages, terrifying Muscovites. Captain Gleb Zheglov enters the fray with the bandits, for whom Sharapov soon becomes his right hand.

Platon is travelling by train to visit his father. He gets off to have lunch where he meets Vera, a waitress. He refuses to pay for the food after which a series of unfortunate events unfold for the pair.

In April 1945, Senior Lieutenant Smirnov arrives in Moscow. He just got out of the hospital. His main task is to neutralize the bandits who raid freight trains. Later, Smirnov realize that the leader of the gang of raiders is the one he least suspected.

The action takes place in 1920 during the Civil War. Crimea on the eve of complete liberation from the White Guards. Returning from patrol, the four brave “elusive” knocked down an airplane. In the field bag of the captured pilot, they find a secret report, which speaks of the existence of defensive fortifications around the coastal city, which the Reds have yet to take. The action of the movie takes place in a certain fairy-tale town. The main character - the scientist Christian-Theodore discovers a lot about the inhabitants of the city, about their oddities and peculiarities. The princess of the city has struck the imagination of Christian-Theodore, but he does not notice that he is not indifferent to the kind girl Annunziata. The scientist becomes a victim of palace intrigues and intrigues. His own shadow, which appeared to the hero, pushes him to a cowardly act - the rejection of the princess. The shadow wins the heart of the princess and wants to destroy Christian-Theodore. But, as it is supposed to be in a real fairy tale, everything ends happily. The hero is helped by Annunziata's love and the sympathy of the town's inhabitants for the scientist who wants to make everyone happy.
