As the full-scale war in Ukraine forces millions to flee, rescuers move in the opposite direction - toward destroyed villages, active shelling, and mined roads - to save animals left behind when humans are forced to escape.

A collective project empowering people to speak up for the stories of farmed animals, with footage from 10+ countries, to raise awareness about the unnecessary suffering those animals go through every day, telling their intimate and truthful story.

The film documents the events around September 20th, 2023: the killing of nine innocent pigs, the disproportionate use of violence against those who defended them, and the ensuing struggle to obtain justice.
