Jake Adams (Jason Harley), a widowed father raising his seven-year-old son Alex (Simon Boniface) on his own, is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Father and son are helped through this emotional journey by Mounia Kane (Kadhy Toure), a woman who enters Jake's life at just the right time.
