Loris Haykasi Tjeknavorian is an Iranian Armenian composer and conductor. He has appeared internationally as a conductor, serving as the principal conductor of the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra from 1989 to 1998 and later from 1999 to 2000.

NRA documentary about Iranian-Armenian maestro Loris Tjeknavorian, the celebrated Iranian-Armenian composer and one of the leading conductors of his generation. His compositions have been performed by major orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, American Symphony Orchestra in New York and the Tehran Symphony Orchestra. Tjeknavorian himself said the film is about a mad person, and "I have always said that the mad people make the world and the wise ruin it".
