Fardous Hassan

It is the story of two friends, one a Muslim, Sheik Metwalli, and the other a Coptic Christian, Barsoum, both unemployed, suffering from hunger, and competing for a job in a bank. When the bank’s director mistakes them for wealthy businessmen, he takes them to his home for a lavish lunch. But upon learning their actual status, he chases them out of the house. At the film’s conclusion, as the two friends rest on the sidewalk absorbing their long-overdue meal, they are arrested by a policeman.

An honest employee finds himself in a tough situation when he is accused of killing his manager due to being in the wrong place at the wrong time. His wife is forced to work at a nightclub to provide for their children.

They call in the national athorities and the black marketeers are brought to justice.

Madiha, the wife of police officer Mounir, is bored with country life. She is overjoyed when her husband tells her that he is moving to Cairo. In her new apartment, she pressures her father to sell the jewelry he inherited from her mother to meet her successive demands. She gradually becomes immersed in drug use and buying clothes, and surrenders to Adham's attempts to flirt with her.

Muhammad Kamal, a simple young man on the tram, meets a girl he loves and shares his feelings with her, but her father objects to this relationship because of the poverty of this singer.
