Juan Romo

A gaze reflects an inner world. A traveler's voice transits New York City and seeks the presence of an old love, confronting the rhythm of the lonely metropolis and its fast-paced, indifferent landscapes, an urban world where all languages are spoken and words are lost among immediate events that drift into oblivion.

Developed within the framework of Apichatpong Weerasethakul's Creators Lab, Wayak (Dream) is a film letter to the land of Yucatán, reflecting on historical processes of Mexico such as the conquest, evangelization and globalization.

Everything is a competition when two teens full of irresponsible bravado - a deadly combination - trail-bike into the woods to shoot off a rifle.
