After three different couples are murdered by a man dressed like a hippie, a detective connects them to a series of similar unsolved murder sprees dating back to 1968: every five years, in the fifth month of the year, five couples are killed over the course of five nights.

Michelle plans to skip the wedding and elope, but her two dads, Leo and Rich, have other ideas. Hoping to give her the big day they never had for themselves, they launch into planning a lavish Christmas wedding.
