A rowing boat bobs on an endless, foggy ocean, holding a young woman. She wakes up with a start when she hears a child cry for help. With each new scream, black spots appear on the woman’s body, as if a monster tries to escape from her. She tries to run from it, but in this short drama she ends up in a nightmarish trip through a dark world. No matter how far she flees, eventually she will have to confront the monster in herself.

The three friends Em, Moreno and Kyon have raised a local money laundering practice in Rotterdam. They feel like kings and go home with a good feeling. In one night they find out that money is not enough to solve their problems.

Younes, known as Taxi, finds himself trapped and powerless in his own home in Morocco. His wife, Samira, has seized total control over his life and that of their children. Tensions run high between Taxi and Samira’s family, especially with her ruthless nephew, Ashraf, who has sworn to kill Taxi from their very first encounter. Ashraf sees Taxi as a significant threat due to his (yet unsigned) statements to the Dutch police. Samira agrees to eliminate Younes, the father of her children.

If you pursued populism, cancel culture and hatred on social media to their extremes, perhaps you would get a weekly, crowd-pulling reality show in which viewers can vote for which compatriot must be executed — literally. This brazen thriller follows Salman Seegers, who starts working for the Sterfshow (Death Show) as a pathologist. It comes easy to him, until a candidate ends up on top of the Death List who is very dear to him.

Samuel (35) and Sarah (33) Ofori, together with their daughter Faith (15), have fled their home country of Ghana. When working as a police officer, Samuel was on the trail of a corruption scandal, but has since then felt that his life is in danger. Finally, after years of waiting, they are offered housing in The Netherlands. Their new home is in a wealthy neighborhood on the outskirts of the city. The young family is amazed when they enter the beautiful, large house: could they finally start over here? However, their happiness proves to be short-lived, for, as Samuel begins to observe frightening events, this home turns out to be just the start of a disturbing new nightmare.

When a cab driver reluctantly has to pick up his last customer of that night in a deprived neighbourhood in Rotterdam, it turns out to be a lady that gives this last ride an unforgettable twist.
