Lust follows desire as sure as night follows day, but in these five stories from France, Switzerland, Brazil and Romania, reality takes an unexpected detour, and things turn out a little differently when sunrise comes.

Long-time friends Vanja, Alex, Liz and Evie go on a camping trip together. Something is in the air between the four women. It soon becomes clear: it is the abortion that Vanja has just had. This experience puts their friendship to the test. Alex in particular has great difficulty dealing with it and standing by her best friend. However, her inadequacy is based on completely different feelings.

Yael is at the beginning of puberty and is searching for his own identity between his virile big brother and his queer best friend Aaron. In the process, he not only questions himself, but also endangers his friendship with Aaron.

After losing her job, Mirjam decides to go away for some time, all by herself. She hopes to reach a better understanding of who she is and who she wants to be. But the trip turns out to be a challenge. Although she finds some peace in this isolation, she still suffers from the expectations and fears of a woman who just turned 30 and recently became unemployed. We follow her during her time in this Mediterranean town and see everything she reveals in her solitude.
