Eusebio Sacristán

The film looks back at Rexach’s more than 45-year association with FC Barcelona, from his time as a youth player and first-team footballer to his work as a coach, sporting director, scout and presidential adviser. It focuses on his role in some of the club’s defining periods, particularly his relationship with Johan Cruyff, the success of the Dream Team, and his involvement in the discovery and signing of Lionel Messi.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the European Cup won at Wembley we produced a documentary that tells the story of the final and the journey to achieve it.

A dramatic documentary about both the dark and the bright sides of the genius; about the ups and downs of a Bulgarian winner, who is a last-ditcher by nature; about the mission to be a leader, taking the lead in crucial moments; about the real events and the myths; about national self-confidence and national nihilism.
