Nicola Abbatangelo

In a gray world, Henry created colors. He managed to trap them inside small glass balls to give to his sick wife, but he couldn't save her. From that day on, he began to produce colored balls non-stop, involving his four sons but refusing to share that incredible magic with the rest of the world and arguing with his youngest son, Stick, about it. Twenty years later, Stick returns home because his father is dying. The only hope seems to lie in a very expensive medical device, but only by freeing the color from the glass balls will Stick and Henry be able to reconcile and fill everyone's lives with beauty.

The love story of Eva, a young immigrant who has always dreamed of becoming a singer but works as a dishwasher, and Armie, a very skilled pianist with a fervent imagination. Both will discover that fantasy, dream and life can instead mix and become the recipe for happiness. The background is New York after the Great War and before the Great Depression, in an era of music, hopes and great changes.

A docu-film on the history and meaning of the painting Madonna Sistina by Raffaello, painted in 1513. The meaning of Raffaello's masterpiece is told through the eyes of Russian author Vasilij Grossman, who dedicated a short but significant story to the painting in which he reviewed the tragic history of twentieth-century totalitarianisms.
