Tamyka Smith

Inspired by true events, this is the story of Gwendolyn Green, an aging widow who spends her days in solitude inside a fenced-in Palm Springs residence, as if trapped in another era. When her lack of social skills and isolation begin to suffocate her, she picks up the phone and calls 911 in search of human connection. Gwendolyn forms a special bond with the officer who answers, and finds in him the care and connection to the modern world that she craves.

Clare is getting ready for her night with Ryan and she does everything she is supposed to do with painstaking attention - she whitens, she moisturizes, she shaves everything. This is a raw and intimate vision of one woman's routine of self-care.
