The film tells the story of four children living with their father on the Golan front in 1958, who live in constant weariness because of the war. After the military escalation on the front occurs, they are forced to return to their mother in her village.

The film depicts the harsh reality of refugees who were forced to leave their war-torn countries, as they find a glimmer of hope in their lives when they learn that American stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are coming to the Syrian capital to visit the Iraqi refugees.

Short feature film produced with the support of the European Union. The film deals with the story of a woman who gives birth to her child in exceptional circumstances where the birth is done with the help of her husband, because there are no other health conditions due to the siege imposed on their neighborhood. All that has performed a clear contrast between death by a sniper’s bullet and the birth of a new child with new hope of life.

The events take place inside a restaurant, where a group of people meet, and strange situations happen to them, which put them in a difficult test, between moments of fear, rivalry and closeness.

When a popular doctor takes his own life, leaving behind a video will and a series of films of his life, everyone who knew him is forced to reassess their own life, creating a mirror of contemporary Syrian society.

The film carries within it a dose of love, hope and optimism, in addition to the human relationships that connect the inhabitants of the old city with each other. I believe that relationships based on love are one of the reasons for the continuation of this city until now. The film is based on the concept of the word “love”, not love between a young man and a young woman, but rather love for things, people, place, profession and work.
