João Paulo Soares

The trajectory of one of the greatest circus masters in Brazil, Zé Wilson, returning to his hometown, in the hinterland of Alagoas, when, together with his troupe, he revisits the history of the circus in Brazil.

The silence of the days packs Aluísio's lonely life. From the waters that were once Josiah's loss, he finds Jonas, unconscious and wounded. Under the constant gaze of the sea, the passing of the days, and the relationship that arises, their lives become intertwined.

Following Alexander Taylor, a teacher in the slums of Kibuna, this is a reflection about the modern times, mixing social criticism and cinematic experimentation to reflect about the overconsumption of images, fake news and social media.
