This is a documentary on the 70's French porn industry. There are generally two kinds of porn documentaries--those that actually take an insightful look behind the scenes, and those that are just an excuse to show a lot of nudity and XXX porn footage. This is actually somewhere in between. It's generously seasoned with porn footage, but there are also a lot of (fully-clothed) interviews, and they even talk to the owners of porn theaters, some typical porn customers (including some pre-adolescent boys who are walking by the the theater--I wonder what their parents thought of that?), as well as a guy who makes promotional billboards for porn movies although he claims never to have seen one!

Servais Mont, a freelance photographer who works taking compromising photos, gets fascinated by Nadine Chevalier, a tormented low-budget movie actress married to an eccentric film photo collector.

The head of an aristocratic family died, so everyone gather to mourn him and see who gets what from his estate. Greed, lust, love and class conflict between the family and their payed servants create a real mess rather quickly.

Gilles, who operates a money losing garage, teams up with his friends Max, who operates a scrap yard, and lawyer Xavier to open a brothel catering to women. They get the idea from Gilles' secretary Irma, a former prostitute. They are assisted in the implementation by Max's wife Juliette and Sabine who is mad for Gilles. Unfortunately Gilles has fallen for Florence the daughter of the conservative Prime Minister and his wife. When the Prime Minister tries to shut down the brothel Gilles decides to stand against him in the election.

Carol runs a hotel where one of the guests, her lover Mathias is a scientist who has invented a pill which can induce instant euphoria and sexual stimulation. Claude is keen to market the pill, but while Mathias is considering this proposition, he finds Carol making love to Lucy, and in his anger, he destroys the formula.

Renarda, a young actress, confides to her analyst the different stages of her sex life. Moved by the confession, the shrink will eventually marry her.

In the year 2222, a former drug dealer is kept in a state of hibernation. Reanimated, he tells his story. Leader in the narcotics market, his situation was prosperous until, during a political change, the government legalized its use.

In the form of an investigative report, Super Woman offers a dive into the world of transvestites and transsexuals who, in 1975, brightened up certain Parisian cabarets such as the Carrousel, the Etrier, the Alcazar or Chez Michou... The latter introduces us to two of its stars, Duduche and Fifi, who evokes his encounters with Sylvie Vartan, whom he imitates to perfection. Then an investigator goes to the Carrousel and meets Claudie, Laurence, Peggy, Albane, Griselleda, Maryline and Kristel.

In the far away African country of Tagabombo a millionaire adventurer has died. His ex-wife and a private detective are more than interested in his money.
