The film captures a period in the life of figure skater Ondrej Nepela, when in 1972 he returns with a gold medal from the Winter Olympic Games in Sapporo, marking the peak of his sporting career. At home, he is greeted not only with fame but also with the realities of the communist regime. Everyone treats him like a celebrity, but the sensitive Ondrej longs above all for an escape from this uncomfortable golden cage. He wants to live freely and in harmony with who he feels he truly is. Yet at the last moment, his promised chance to leave for a professional ice revue is forbidden, and he is ordered to compete in another World Championship. Disappointed, Nepela must find new motivation and also come to terms with the tragic death of his best friend, figure skater Hana Mašková.

The routine day of two small-town police officers, Pavel (22) and Michal (50), is turned upside down when, as the first patrol on the scene, they are tasked with securing the site of an extremely violent crime in a restaurant where hostages are still being held. Despite being professionals, they are afraid, they clash with one another, and they make mistakes. This police drama captures a first encounter with a mass shooting through the eyes of the very first responders.

Harold May, an excellent Jewish-American tap dancer, on tour in Europe with his company, receives an offer from a German that is difficult to pass up: a large sum to put on a show in Berlin. The German does not know that Harold is of Jewish origins; the year is 1937 and, once they arrive in Germany, the company discovers that he will have to perform in the presence of Adolf Hitler.

Today he is sober. Andrej and Miša start to talk and over the glass of Fanta find an interest in each other. The fight for their young and tender love begins.

After failing her college entrance exams, Viki is coming to terms with her disappointment and searching for her own path. The summer at Zemplínska Šírava gives her the space to defy the expectations of those around her, leave the past behind, and start believing in herself.
