The city of Naples is told through 24 short stories that emphasize its complexity, looks and characters.

When the US embassy opens the green card lottery visa, Assad writes hundreds of stories about imaginary families running away from the war and submits them. When one of the stories is accepted, Kamal, a repatriated Somali-American, helps him to find the right characters for the embassy interviews. The two have sent hundreds of fake families to the US but now their scam is about to be discovered.

MoMo is a Somali urban refugee living in Nairobi where he runs the community radio station Wazi? FM with his Kenyan friend Kevo. Their partnership began when an NGO brought them together as part of a program to have a Somali and a Kenyan work on media project promoting peace. Everything is going well at Wazi? FM until one day the team stumble upon a dark secret in their community and MoMo vanishes. Pulling together the pieces of the story an Inspector from the Kenyan Special Forces is trying to understand what really happened before MoMo's disappearance.

Claudio Scimone and the Solisti Veneti in concert in Nairobi perform music by Vivaldi, Tartini, Rossini, Pasculli, Verdi, Arban, Monti and Morricone whose poignant version of “Nuovo Cinema Paradiso” is heard.
