Tales from the Darkside is an anthology horror TV series created by George A. Romero, each episode was an individual short story that ended with a plot twist. The series' episodes spanned the genres of horror, science fiction, and fantasy, and some episodes featured elements of black comedy or more lighthearted themes.

Manhattan fireman Mark Decker visits, for the first time, his Steven in his ex Emma's new apartment in one of her dad Donald Richardson's development estates, at the foot of Diamand-back Mountain. But Don's ambitious executive Stewart Hancock, who dreams of his own firm, has been cutting too many corners, at the expense of safety, causing a landslide. Mark gets trapped with Steven and the new concierge Harold, who knows everything about an additional danger: rattlesnakes awoken early from hibernation. Now Mark discovers artistic, nerdy Steven only did 'manly' stuff in the city because dad-son time is so rare. While they soldier on, landscape architect Emma discovers the truth and counters Stewart's plan B to literally cover it up.

The girlfriends of softball players decide to form their own team as a way of avenging their neglect.

THE BILL IS DUE. 'Downstream' is a view of the not so distant future. We follow a young man (everyone's son) as he pays the price for society's decadence.

A unique female specimen from the Pleistocene Age, a.k.a. the Ice Age, is kept in cryogenic stasis while being transported back to civilization in a military convoy. When the convoy is raided by mercenaries who move the specimen onto a plane, the "Ice Queen" awakens in an uncontrollably aggressive state and kills the pilot, causing the plane to crash into a resort. Having survived the crash, the Ice Queen embarks on a rampage throughout the resort, forcing the survivors into a desperate battle for survival.
