The story is an adaptation of the Uttara Kanda from Ramayana.

After meeting with an accident, Payel falls in love with a man. Things turn when her father disapproves of their relationship.

One night, the newlywed Romita is molested by five men until Jhinuk, a teacher, helps save her. But even after the incident ends, the two women are faced with several hurdles.

Soumik (Prosenjit) leaves his family when his brothers are contemptuous about his inability to find a job. However, his continued absence begins to tear the family apart.
