This documentary follows superstar Bret Hart during his last year in the WWF. The film documents the tensions that resulted in The Montreal Screwjob, one of the most controversial events in the history of professional wrestling, in which Vince McMahon, Shawn Micheals, and others, legitimately conspired behind the scenes to go against the script and remove Bret Hart as champion.

WrestleMania XXVI was the twenty-sixth annual WrestleMania PPV and was presented by Slim Jim. It took place on March 28, 2010 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The first main event was a No DQ, no count-out match that featured The Undertaker versus Shawn Michaels. The second was a singles match for the WWE Championship that saw Batista defend the championship against John Cena. The third was a singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship featured the champion, Chris Jericho, defending against Edge for the title. Major League Wrestling presents WAR GAMES. The event takes place 15 years after the original MLW War Games was held in the same venue.

Field of Honor '15 was a professional wrestling event produced by Ring of Honor (ROH), which took place on August 22, 2015 at the MCU Park in Brooklyn, New York.

NJPW Destruction in Kobe 2018 was a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). It took place on September 23, 2018, at the Kobe World Memorial Hall in Kobe, Japan, and was headlined by an IWGP Heavyweight Title #1 Contendership Match between Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada.

Night of Champions (2010) was a PPV that took place on September 19, 2010 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. It was the fourth annual event under the "Night of Champions" name and the tenth annual event under the Vengeance/Night of Champions chronology. Similar to the previous three events, the concept of the show was that every championship in the company was defended at the event. Randy Orton, Sheamus, Wade Barrett, Edge, John Cena, and Chris Jericho competed in a Six-pack challenge elimination match for the WWE Championship. The Undertaker challenged Kane in a No Holds Barred match for the World Heavyweight Championship, Daniel Bryan faced The Miz for the US Championship, Dolph Ziggler faced Kofi Kingston for the IC Championship, A Tag Team Turmoil match took place for the Tag Team Belts, and The Big Show fought CM Punk in the first non title match at a Night of Champions PPV.

ROH & NJPW: Global Wars – Chicago was a co-produced professional wrestling event featuring American promotion Ring of Honor (ROH) and Japanese promotion New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). It took place on October 15, 2017, at the Odeum Expo Center in Villa Park, Illinois, USA, and served as the fourth and final night of the ROH & NJPW Global Wars U.S. tour, and was headlined by Kenny Omega (c) vs. YOSHI-HASHI for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.

Bragging Rights (2009) was a PPV presented by THQ's WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2010. It took place on October 25, 2009 at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was the first Bragging Rights event. A Bragging Rights trophy was awarded to the show that won the most matches. Matches included Raw's US Champion The Miz versus SmackDown's IC Champion John Morrison, SmackDown's team of Michelle, Beth and Natalya versus Raw's team of Melina, Kelly and Gail, and Raw's team of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Big Show, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston and Mark Henry versus SmackDown's team of Jericho, Kane, R-Truth, Matt Hardy, Finlay, Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith. The show also contained three world championship matches including the main event where Randy Orton defended against John Cena in an Anything Goes Iron Man match for the WWE Championship, and The Undertaker defended against CM Punk, Rey Mysterio and Batista in a Fatal Four-Way match for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Over the Limit (2010) was a PPV presented by Axe Hair, which took place on May 23, 2010 at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. It was the first event promoted under the Over the Limit name. In the main event from the Raw brand, John Cena faced Batista for the WWE Championship, while The Big Show versus World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger was the main event from the SmackDown brand. Matches on the undercard included Randy Orton against Edge, CM Punk facing Rey Mysterio, and Drew McIntyre defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Kofi Kingston. Other championships defended at the event were the WWE Divas Championship and the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship. The event drew 197,000 pay-per-view buys, and was attended live by 11,000 people. Five wrestlers sustained legitimate injuries during the course of the show.

It took place on October 12, 2017, at Buffalo RiverWorks in Buffalo, New York, USA, and served as the first night of the ROH & NJPW Global Wars U.S. tour, showcasing top talent from both companies in interpromotional matchups.

New Year Dash!! 2015, which took place the night after Wrestle Kingdom 10, was a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling on January 5, 2015, at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan, and was headlined by an eight-man tag team match featuring Hirooki Goto, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Katsuyori Shibata & Tetsuya Naito vs. Bullet Club (AJ Styles, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson & Yujiro Takahashi).

Money in the Bank was a PPV that took place on July 18, 2010 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri and presented by A&E's Criss Angel Mindfreak. Wrestlers will portray heroes (faces) or villains (heels) as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.
