Justino is a widower who lives isolated from the world on a large. Amira is one of many illegal Moroccan seasonal workers seeking a better future in Spain. One night, when Justino goes down to the village to sell his tomatoes, he accidentally runs her over.

In this documentary, Lagartija Nick transports us to a surreal and innovative place, taking us on a journey through their concept albums inspired by the historical avant-garde movements of the 20th century. Through 16mm films, poetry, and, of course, the most rocking and innovative music of recent years, Generación Lagartija introduces us not only to its members, but also to beloved figures such as García Lorca, Val del Omar, and Luis Buñuel.

Juan Méndez is a high executive in his forties who seems to be a model of middle-class stability. However, amidst a personal crisis, he is contemplating some changes in his life, including changes in his romantic affairs. He moves to Valencia, allegedly for professional reasons, and that causes many troubles for his family: his woman has to quit her job, her daughter is going to be far from her fiancé and his son will have to find new friends.

David Riondino, an Italian film director, is coming to Spain to document the Atocha massacre of 1977, to make a film on its 50th anniversary. He will be helped by Alejandra, a young documentary filmmaker who urges him to contextualise the past with the current rise of the far right. By investigating the Atocha attack, David will recover a part of that recent past and at the same time will witness a reality that encourages reflection on some burning issues such as the advance of the far right, problems of access to housing and job insecurity.
