The Solovetsky Monastery, built in the 15th century, is a sacred place, in the history of which holiness and tragedy, unity with God and the terrible test of the special camp merged. This is the place where today everyone is looking for the answer to the main question "who am I?" The protagonist of the film goes there to shoot a documentary, and everything starts to go wrong.

In 2007, Liza Likhacheva, director of Russia’s State Museum of Architecture, chanced upon a group of 17th-century frescoes in a museum storeroom. The frescos, which illustrate the biblical tale of the Apocalypse, had been part of a series gifted by the tsar to the Kalyazin Monastery. In 1937, upon Stalin’s order, the monastery was demolished and flooded to make way for a hydroelectric dam on the Volga River. But what happened to the frescoes? Documentary filmmaker Eleonora Tukhareli follows Liza in her search to locate, restore and exhibit these iconic Russian artworks – a search that involves Liza’s skills as a detective, political maneuvering, and underwater archaeologists. Part documentary, part imaginative melodrama, Tukhareli’s feature film makes timely comparisons between the 17th-century frescos and 21st-century environmental collapse.

During the Great Patriotic War, there were legends about the submarine "Shch-406", which fought in the Baltic Sea. 39 sailors of the crew, led by commander Yevgeny Osipov, could attack the enemy at depth or engage in battle on the surface, which others did not dare to do. And then the boat disappeared…

The famous traveler, scientist and philanthropist Frederik Paulsen, who conquered all 8 poles of our planet, plunged into the depths of the Arctic Ocean, studied the bottom of Lake Baikal and the Novosibirsk Islands, in the company of actress Agnia Ditkovskite went on a new expedition to Tuva. Their goal is to reach the top of the sacred mountain Mongun-Taiga. Tuvans believe that there, at an altitude of almost 4 thousand meters, dwells a spirit that protects the entire Tuvan land. And they don't let outsiders in there.
