A thriller loosely based on one of the most violent Czech criminal cases of the nineties, popularly known as the Orlík murders. The film delves into the motivation behind the killings, exposing their exceptional cruelty and an absolute absence of moral values. The perpetrators executed four people on their way to achieving material gain. Two of the bodies were found at the bottom of Orlík reservoir, the third perished in a bomb blast, and the forth was shot at home...

Set in the late 80s in a quiet, rural village headed by a suspicious, conspiring group of nasty leaders. Ewald has arrived there to measure water levels. Surrounding the fortress near the village are soldiers.

The boy has a good relationship with his uncle, and a touching picture of Czech family life just at the advent of World War II emerges. Since Emil and Ernst are both Jewish, they are eventually carted away by the Nazis.

His dream girl Mahulena really exists and has long been dreaming of the prince. The prince must overcome the intrigues of the evil stepmother and also fulfill three wishes that Mahulena came up with to get rid of her suitors...

The common theme of the short story film is the famous duels between two important historical figures: Pushkin and Casanova. Pushkin's tragic duel, which ended his life prematurely, is portrayed in connection with the creation of his short story "The Dirty Shot", while Casanova's story is conceived in a rather ironic and humorous way. The point is that the famous seducer never actually seduced, on the contrary, all his life he was in a constant battle with female seductions.

A fairy-tale about the power of love. The old king Pravoslav feels it is time to entrust the rule over his kingdom to one of his three daughters - the one that loves him the most. The youngest, Maruška, fails her father's expectations about proving how deep her love him is. He misunderstands her and she is made to leave the castle. She faces many dangers on the way to her loved one, the Salt Prince.

A television production based on the legend of the well at Trenčín Castle. In the 16th century, the lord of Trenčín Castle was Štefan Zápoľský - Duke of Transylvania, known for his hardness. He built Trenčín Castle as a fortress against the Turks, which, however, could be easily defeated because it had no water. The Turks wanted to take advantage of this fact. Zápoľský, as a good tactician, did not wait for the Turks to attack and attacked their own camp. He won and took a large number of prisoners, including the beautiful Fatima, the wife of Duke Omar. Omar decided to ransom Fatima from captivity. Zápoľský knew only one price - water at Trenčín Castle. Omar undertakes to fulfill the condition and dig a well. He keeps his word and takes Fatima and the other prisoners from Trenčín Castle.

The heaviness of the Ťapák house is only disturbed by the bride Iľa, Paľ's wife. She is a midwife in the village. But they only want one thing - to have peace, quiet. This is how it goes day after day. Without excitement, slowly, with a bitter, almost imperceptible relationship to each other and to life in the village. The tension is only brought here by Ilina's efforts for change, to which the family members no longer even react. The smartest of the family is Anča. However, she does not want to become Ilina's companion. Both legs have been crippled since childhood, so she only watches her sister-in-law's activities with envy.

He beat up his wife's lover, to whom he must also pay compensation. Marek hides this from the other members of the group because he is ashamed. He is a type of useless person, defeated by life and incapable of action. A man may or may not have betrayed a resistance fighter during World War II. He has supposedly been shot down by the Nazis and wanders into town. Mourning the death of an unseen comrade, he is taken in by the family of the dead rebel. He engages in a superfluous affair and witnesses the lesbian relationship between the man's sister and a female servant. When passions subside, the family has doubts about the reliability of the man's story.
