It is an intimate and collective look at Giffoni, a place that every summer is transformed into a small cinema town, inhabited by real emotions and personal visions. A tribute to cinema as a tool for growth and to a festival that manages to give a voice to those who, through cinema, seek to better understand themselves and the world.

Ernesto is a teenager who wanders, in search of himself, through the streets of Rome. Chapter after chapter, time passes and people just disappear but he continues to live impromptu relationships, causing pain to himself and to others. Taking refuge in his happy moments and in political ideologies, he believes he can save his soul from suffering although life will force him to grow and move forward.

At the conclusion of the DO Tour Casting project, organized by the DO Cinema agency to search for new talent across Italy (including Turin, Milan, Florence, Rome, Naples, and Maratea), the video testimonials of the people met form a mosaic of stories, faces, and emotions. Twenty-four aspiring actors, embarked on a 400-day journey that began on the day of their audition, are trying their hand at their dream job. And amidst hopes and disappointments, uncertainties and talent, they create a universal portrait of a generation. An experiment that follows the maturation of future faces of cinema not only professionally, but also, and above all, personally.
