Adnan is obsessed with going to his ex-wife's housewarming party. Unfortunately, he isn't invited.

A., a young man from Vienna, has decided to join the military. He says goodbye to his studies, his family, his job, and his girlfriend. He shaves his head. The people around him react with incomprehension and tell stories about the army and war, sharing their ideas and opinions on the subjects.

While those around him react to his decision to join the military with comments and war stories, A. is looking for another reality. He shaves his head, drops out of university, neglects his friends and hobbies. What remains real and what is fiction?
