In Naples, Professor Bellavista is a retired man, passionate about the philosophy and thought of Ancient Greece. Every day, in his luxurious apartment, he teaches his lessons of life to the poor-nothing (his friends), who are dazzled by his reasoning. One day, however, the quiet life of the building of Bellavista will be disturbed by the arrival of a director of Milan. Between Naples and Milan there contrast, because the Neapolitans are accustomed to enjoy a quiet life, always based on the "philosophy of pleasure and delay", while the northern Italians are very strict and punctual.

Momo is a young orphan girl who lives in the ruins of an old Roman amphitheater and becomes friends with everybody in the neighborhood. Here begins the struggle with other colleagues to buy up the post of deputy prime. As any good doctor is measured by the number of patients who, the whole family and all his friends are hospitalized; He, in this way, comes from the league winner. The fatal destiny wants its affair is discovered by an inspector of the Ministry of Health, and Peter will be dismissed from the hospital. This will not deter the protagonist by the medical profession; who continue to indulge in a private clinic run "family".

Sergio Colombo is an insurance agent. He had just gone through a divorce so he is a little bit scattered. Wanting to unwind he plans to go to vacation with a magnificent girlfriend but suddenly he is ordered off to Canada in order to sign an important contract. At the airport Colombo accidentally gets on a plane that flies in a direction directly opposite to Canada - to Bankgok.

In the slang of the underworld or "mala" there is a special term for cop: "Madama". But if word were to get around that the "Madama" is Vito (Christian De Sica) they might even start to like the guy. Vito is a funny sort of a cop. For a start he doesn't like the uniform (he never wears it). Things might even go smoothly for him, if it weren't for an incredible number of beautiful girls who always manage to get in his way. Especially one girl Angelo (shouldn't that have been Angela? No, the girl's name really is Angelo). Problems arise too, with his direct supervisor, who also happens to be a relative. But Vito puts up with it all and manages to stay his usual calm and polite self, even when he risks getting killed.

Arturo is a Tv content autor scared by the love. Mike is an old american friend that come to visit him because his girlfriend has broken with him. Everyone wants somebody to love.
